What was the highlight of Hotel Tanausu Tenerife
Basic; clean; helpful staff and a very good location for exploring Santa Cruz.
The helpfulness of the staff ie, they provided a charger for my phone and charged it for me
Stairs to our floor very dark. Did not know how to activate lights on each landing until we left. Lift a bit on the small side if two people with luggage tried to get into it.

Unbeatable value and location a minute walk to the lovely market, close to the buses, cafes, shops
Amazing location, the shared kitchen and lounge on the 1st floor, very secure and close to the bus station. Take 910 to Teresitas beach
Not the greatest views from the room, but didn’t matter. Also when you open your window, you see your neighbours room.

Worth staying
Nice room with everything you need, comfy bed, shower working well, excellent WiFi. Very cheap and great location.
The only small issue I had was a security guy at the reception was was asking me too many questions "which room I am in, what's my name, show me your key" every time I was coming back to hotel. I found it too intimidating even though I understand the importance of hotel security. But it was a bit too much.

Peasant , comfortable ,and peaceful
The staff very kind and willing to help ,clean ,not noisy ,next to everything in Santa Cruz ,and very affordable depending on the season .Might not be as fancy as others but these two factors outweigh the others
